Várallyay Gyula, az IFHS-MEFESZ egyik vezető aktivistája kezdettől szorgosan gyűjtötte az itthoni, majd emigráns diákmozgalom dokumentumait Nyugatra távozása: Ausztriába, majd az Egyesült Államokba érkezése után. Ez gyűjteménye legkorábbi, főként az 1957-es évből fennmaradt része.
