The Croatian Philosophical Society (CPS) is a professional association of Croatian philosophers based in Zagreb. In the 1960s, the Society launched the Korčula Summer School, as well as publication of the journal Praxis with an international edition and international reputation in the circles of neo-Marxist and analytical philosophers.
After Praxis was extinguished in 1974, the Society's activities were halted. The CPS was re-activated in the 1980s, when it launched the journal Filozofska istraživanje (Philosophical Research), followed by an international journal Synthesis philosophica. The Society also began publishing the works of contemporary Croatian philosophers. The Society is an operator of the Praxis Journal and Korčula Summer School Collection, which was donated by Ante Lešaja. The CPS has a total of 442 members and has one permanent employee.
