Iljko Karaman, the creator of the collection, donated the collection to the CSA in 1992. The collection was delivered in part on three separate occasions in May and in July 1992. The first, larger unit in eleven bundles was delivered, and then in the same year, Karaman came across a smaller amount quantity of the material and also delivered it to the CSA.
