The editorial board of the contemporary ARS - Review of Literature, Culture and Social Issues (re-founded in 1999), led by Milorad Popović and Mladen Lompar, organized an exhibition in 2011 in Cetinje to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary since the first founding of ARS. The exhibition included a roundtable on literary journal production in the region. The event was attended by representatives of journals that collaborate on the international project “Revija u reviji” [Review within the review]: the Slovenian journal Apokalipsa, the Polish journal Studium, the journal Literatur und Kritik from Austria, the journal Jelenkor from Hungary, the Czech journal Host, the Croatian journal Quorum, the journal Romboid from Slovakia, and Naše pismo from Macedonia. This project’s far-reaching goals are to connect literature and literary journals in Central Europe and the Balkans and foster the exchange of literary creativity and ideas with other cultural fields.
